Kansas to Host a Pair of Nationally Televised Matches, To Be Featured on National TV Four Times

With the season set to begin on Aug. 28, ESPN and FOX have released their national television schedule for the 2026 volleyball season with the Kansas Jayhawks hosting two nationally televised games in Allen Fieldhouse.
LAWRENCE, Kan. – With the season set to begin on Aug. 28, ESPN and FOX have released their national television schedule for the 2026 volleyball season with the Kansas Jayhawks hosting two nationally televised games in Allen Fieldhouse. Overall, the Jayhawks will play five total matches on national television.
"Our team has been working hard to be ready to play in big environments," said head coach Matt Ulmer. "We are excited to play tough matches on national television and are grateful for the opportunity to continue to grow the Kansas Volleyball brand."
The matches include four opponents who were ranked in the final 2025 AVCA National Rankings. Kansas ended its 2025 season with a final AVCA ranking of No. 14 after spending the entirety of the season in the Top 25 for the third consecutive year.
The Jayhawks will open the season with a pair of back-to-back nationally televised games at Pittsburgh on Friday, Aug. 28 at 5:30 p.m. CT on ESPN2, followed by Stanford on Sunday, Aug. 30 at 1:30 p.m. CT on ESPN.
Kansas will then host Arizona State in Allen Fieldhouse on Sunday, Oct. 18 at 12 p.m. followed by a trip down south to take on Baylor on Sunday, Oct. 25 at 12 p.m. with both matches being featured on ESPN.
The Jayhawks will return to Allen Fieldhouse for a Friday evening showdown with Kansas State in the Dillons Sunflower Showdown on Oct. 30 at 7 p.m. on FS1.
