COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Former Kansas Middle Blocker Toyosi Onabanjo was named to the 2026 Women's Pan American Cup Roster, the organization announced on Wednesday, and marks her first appearance on the senior national team.

A two-year Jayhawk, Onabanjo was a member of the 25-win 2024 Kansas team that hosted a pair of NCAA Tournament matches. In her final collegiate match against Florida, Onabanjo led all players in blocks with seven.

In her senior season Onabanjo averaged 2.58 kills and 1.23 blocks per set in 2024, en route to becoming the eighth overall pick by the Omaha Supernovas in the 2024 Pro Volleyball Federation draft.

The 2026 Pan American Cup is the 23rd edition of the event, beginning on Friday, September 11 in León, Guanajuato, Mexico. The United States has won the event seven times, most recently in 2019.
