Kansas Holds Strong at No. 22 in AVCA Polls

LAWRENCE, Kan. - Kansas volleyball remained at No. 22 in the Sept. 14 edition of the American Volleyball Coaches Association poll, the organization announced on Monday.

The Jayhawks went 3-0 last week with wins over Wichita State, Tulsa and South Dakota State. KU did not drop a set during the week, winning each match in straight sets. Each match was played at Horejsi Family Volleyball Arena.

Kansas will travel to Wichita for a second contest with the Shockers on Tuesday, Sept. 15, before welcoming Ole Miss and Grand Canyon for the Jayhawk Classic at Horejsi. The Jayhawks will face Ole Miss at 6 p.m. CT on Friday, Sept. 18, and Grand Canyon at 2 p.m. CT on Sunday, Sept. 20.
