Kansas Remains No. 19 in Week Five Polls

LAWRENCE, Kan. - Kansas volleyball remained No. 19 in the Sept. 28 release of the American Volleyball Coaches Association poll, the organization announced on Monday. The Jayhawks picked up a pair of Big 12 victories last week over Houston and Texas Tech.
Kansas has won 24-straight sets, a program record for consecutive set victories and is the longest active set-win streak in the country. Eight wins in a row is the longest win streak by a Jayhawk team since winning 11-straight matches in 2024.

The Jayhawks will play a pair of conference home games this week, hosting No. 23 Utah on Thursday, Oct. 1 and No. 18 BYU on Friday, Oct. 2. First serve for both matches is set for 6 p.m. CT at Horejsi Family Volleyball Arena, with viewing available on ESPN+.
