What's the significance behind your jersey number?
- 22 has always been my dad's favorite number.
- Growing up, I came to Kansas Basketball camp and was a Jayhawk fan from a young age. Being around players like Thomas Robinson and Jeff Withey at camp inspired me to work hard and reach my goals.

- Being a part of the 2022 National Championship team.

OVERVIEW
Was a redshirt on Kansas’ 2022 NCAA National Championship team … Played in 19 games while at Kansas, five in 2022-23, nine in 2023-24 and five in 2024-25 … Was 4-for-6 in scoring nine points during his KU career … Comes from an athletic family as his sisters play volleyball at Georgetown, his father, who grew up in Lawrence, played golf at TCU and he has three cousins who played college football and an aunt who played college golf … Graduated from Kansas in May 2024 with a degree in business administration and will get his MBA from KU.

A 2025 Academic All-Big 12 selection ... Saw action in five games and scored six points … Was 3-for-3 from the field … Played a season high five minutes in Kansas’ win at UCF (1/5) … Posted a career-highs with four points and one steal against Oklahoma State (2/22) … Tied his career high with one rebound twice – vs. Brown (12/22) and vs. Oklahoma State (2/22).

Played for Will Cunningham at Cathedral Catholic High School in San Diego … In 2020-21, Wilhite averaged 18 points and 12 rebounds per game for the Dons who were 17-3 and finished second in the San Diego City Conference tournament … As a senior, was a 2021 all-league first-team selection for the Western League … Cathedral Catholic won two CIF San Diego titles his junior and senior seasons … Was the starting middle blocked on the Cathedral Catholic volleyball team where the team won the CIF San Diego Division I championship … A member of the San Diego Union Tribune All-Academic Team and the Principal’s Honor Roll.
