What's the significance behind your jersey number?
- I wanted a fresh start. New year and new number.
Who or what inspired you to start playing basketball growing up?
- Kobe Bryant is who inspired me to play ball, he is my idol. I wanted to be him growing up. His drive and motivation is what willed me into becoming a ball player.
Do you have any pregame superstitions or routines?
- Just meditating while I stretch. Closing my eyes and feeling my body get loose.
Tell us about your favorite basketball moment as a player or fan.
- My favorite moment as a basketball player was playing UNC as a true freshman and having a career night that night, earning Freshman of the Week honors as well.
Who do you model your game off of?
- I don’t model it after a specific player, I just like to add from others to what I have already. If I had to name a player it’d be Derek Rose.
