What's the significance behind your jersey number?

I wanted a fresh start. New year and new number.

Who or what inspired you to start playing basketball growing up?

Kobe Bryant is who inspired me to play ball, he is my idol. I wanted to be him growing up. His drive and motivation is what willed me into becoming a ball player.

Do you have any pregame superstitions or routines?

Just meditating while I stretch. Closing my eyes and feeling my body get loose.

Tell us about your favorite basketball moment as a player or fan.

My favorite moment as a basketball player was playing UNC as a true freshman and having a career night that night, earning Freshman of the Week honors as well.

Who do you model your game off of?

I don’t model it after a specific player, I just like to add from others to what I have already. If I had to name a player it’d be Derek Rose.

Kobe Bryant.
