- It was the only single digit number available.
Who or what inspired you to start playing basketball growing up?
- I’ve always loved basketball since I played my first game when I was 3 years old, but my biggest inspiration to work on my craft was Kevin Durant. He’s been my favorite player since the beginning of his career.
Do you have any pregame superstitions or routines?
- I always take a nap before I head to the gym for pregame.
Tell us about your favorite basketball moment as a player or fan.
- My favorite basketball moment is winning the state championship my sophomore year of high school.

OVERVIEW
An invited walk on who is a transfer from Rice following the 2023-24 season and was a redshirt in 2024-25 ... Started his college career at Vanderbilt in 2022-23 before playing at Rice in 2023-24 … Has played in 45 games in his two seasons in college … There have been only two Jayhawks to have wore No. 7 – Bill Brainard (1954-56) and Claude Houchin (1947-50).
