Competed in three meets for the Jayhawks with the highest finish coming at the Bob Timmons Classic (Sept. 4), placing eighth with a 5K time of 20:00… Was one of four Jayhawks to finish in the top 10 at the Missouri Cross Country Challenge (Sept. 11), taking ninth and clocking in with a 5K time of 18:59.82… Competed in the open race at the ISU Pre-Nationals meet (Oct. 16), running a 6K time of 24:10.50 and finishing 111th.

2008 All-Southern Conference Freshman Team Selection… Placed 20th at the Crimson Classic and 18th at the Furman Invitational… Placed 24th overall and fifth on the team at the SoCon Championship.
