Opened his Indoor season with a 1st place finish in the Mile with a time of 4:01.75 and also finished 2nd in the 1000m at the KU/KSU/WSU Triangular … Finished 2nd in the Mile with a time of 4:00.23 at the Rick McGuire Invitational … Ran a PR time of 3:58.96 in the Mile at the Boston University David Hemery Valentine Invitational … At the Big 12 Indoor Championships he took 8th in the Mile with a time of 4:12.95.
2024 CROSS COUNTRY (Jr.)
Competed five times for Kansas ... Opened the season with a first place finish and new 5K personal best of 18:33.6 at the Bob Timmons Classic ... Placed 39th at the Gans Creek Classic with a time of 23:58.6 ... Crossed the finish line in 24:23.7 and 19th place at the Wisconsin Pre-Nationals ... Set a new personal best 8K of 23:55.2 while achieving 46th place at the Big 12 Championships ... Made his KU debut at the Washburn Rust Buster and ran the mile in 4:19.57 earning him sixth … Recorded a personal best in the 1,000 for finishing it in 2:28.00, placing first … Finished sixth in the mile at the Husker Invitational for finishing in 4:10.69 … Achieved a personal best in the mile for finishing in 4:10.11 and placed ninth at the Tyson Invitational … Achieved two personal bests at the Big 12 Indoor Championships for completing the 1,000 in 2:27.94 and the 3000 in 8:40.48, placing 14th for the 1,000 and top 30 for the 3,000.

Ran an 18:40.99 6K at the Bob Timmons Classic, where he finished fifth overall ... Rounded out the top 20 at the Greeno/Dirksen Invitational with an 8K time of 24:55.1 ... Finished 57th overall with a time of 24:41.4 at the Gans Creek Classic ... Ran a 25:17.3 8K to place 113th overall at the Weis Crockett Invitational ... Placed 45th at the Big 12 Championship, crossing the line in 26:07.5.
HIGH SCHOOL
Six-time state champion and three-time state meet record holder with eleven All-State honors...Was the Festival of Miles 800m Champion & the One Mile Runner-Up.... In 2021, was named to the Southwest MO Boys Cross Country Athlete of the Year, also won the Cross Country State Championship... Has won two gold medals in State Ensemble...Academically, valedictorian of his high school & and qualified for the FBLA National competition.

Parents are Darin and Robin Talley...Has two siblings... Older brother, Trevor, runs track at SBU & younger sister, Kaylee, attends Missouri State... Is a pre-dental student aspiring to become a dentist or dental specialist in the future.
