Career Honors: 2009: KU offensive scout team player of the week vs. Colorado.
2009 (Fr.): Did not see action as a backup tight end… Named KU offensive scout team player of the week vs. Colorado.
2008 (RS): Redshirted his first season at Kansas.
High School: Participated in spring practice after graduating early from high school…. Earned Max Emfinger all-america honors… Was an all-conference first team selection as a senior… Was a St. Louis area Super 30 selection… Also named to the all-metro team… Earned all-area team honors from the Alton Telegraph in both 2005 and 2007… Was an all-conference first team selection as a senior in 2007 and a second team pick as a junior in 2005… Did not play in 2006 due to injuries suffered in a car accident… As a senior he recorded 10 catches for 221 yards on offense… Had 93 tackles, including seven sacks on defense… As a sophomore he had five catches for 125 yards and added 34 tackles, including five sacks… Also played basketball.
