Senior Season (2010-11): An All-Big 12 Honorable Mention selection who played in all 38 games and earned 25 starts including the final 16 games … Averaged 7.3 points a game, hitting double figures nine times… Second on the team in assists, dishing 3.3 per game… Played 30 minutes or more in 15 games and averaged 27.5 minutes per game on the season… Averaged 2.2 rebounds per game, collecting a career-high seven against Missouri (3/5)… Led the Big 12 in assist-to-turnover ratio at 2.8 for all games and 4.4 for conference games… In conference play shot a team-best 53.1 percent from behind the arc, hitting 26-of-49… Hit a career-high five three-pointers against Nebraska (2/5), scoring 19 points off of 5-of-7 shooting in 37 minutes… A Big 12 All-Defensive Team selection, he was ninth in the league in steals per game (1.4) and ranked second on the team … Shot 59.5 percent from three-point land over the final 12 conference games… Selected to the Academic All-Big 12 Second Team.

Canada Exhibition (Fall 2008): Started the first two games in KU[apos]s 3-0 trip to Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, but did not play in the last game due to a sore ankle… Played 21 minutes with four points and three rebounds versus McGill… Scored his only two points against Carleton with time running out in the first half to give KU a 45-44 halftime lead.

Freshman Season (2006-07): Appeared in 16 games and averaged 2.1 points… Had four games of 10 minutes or more, including a season-high 14 minutes against Northern Arizona in the season opener… Scored a season-high five points on three different occasions – vs. Dartmouth (11/28), vs. Colorado (1/27) and in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament vs. Niagara (3/16)… Appeared in seven conference games… Saw action in three postseason contests versus Oklahoma in the Big 12 Championship and against Niagara and Kentucky in the NCAA Tournament… Recorded a season-high three assists in two games – vs. Dartmouth and Winston-SalemState (12/19)… Had a season-high three rebounds against Northern Arizona and Dartmouth.

High School: A Free StateHigh School graduate (2005)… Coached by Jack Schreiner… Led the Firebirds in scoring with 18 points per game his senior season… Team won the Sunflower League title in 2005, finished 19-4 – the best record in school history – and entered the state tournament the No. 1 seed… An all-state selection in 6A and all classes his senior season… Was named the Sunflower League Player of the Year in 2005… Named to the all-metro team his senior campaign… Earned All-Sunflower League honors as a junior.
Off the Court: Full name is Brady Craig Morningstar… Born in Hinsdale, Ill…. Received his bachelor[apos]s degree in communication studies from KU in May 2010… Pursued graduate studies during 2010-11 season… Parents are Roger and Linda Morningstar… Father, Roger, was a KU basketball standout on the 1974 and 1975 Big Eight Conference championship teams under head coach Ted Owens… Roger started 48 of 55 games played and averaged 11.7 points and 4.8 rebounds in his two-year career at Kansas… The 1974 Jayhawks advanced to the NCAA Final Four and ended the year ranked seventh nationally… Sister, Linsey, was a senior setter/defensive specialist on the Kansas volleyball team in 2006… Sister, Jamie, was a letterwinner at KU in volleyball from 1999-2002.
