Overview: Transferred to Ohio University after the 2012-13 season… Came to Kansas as a highly-recruited guard from Rainier Beach High School in Seattle, which was also the high school of former Jayhawks Roderick Stewart and C.J. Giles.
Freshman Season (2012-13): Played in 24 games, including 11 league contests… Scored a career-high 11 points on 4-of-5 shooting vs. Texas Tech (3/14) in the Big 12 Championship quarterfinals… Played a season-high 11 minutes vs. American (12/29) with two points, one assist and one steal… Scored four points on two dunks vs. Richmond (12/18)… Played eight minutes vs. Washington State (11/19)… Played four minutes and was 1-for-1 from the field with one assist vs. Chattanooga (11/15)… Appeared in both exhibition games, averaging 7.0 minutes with two steals.
Europe 2012: Averaged 9.8 minutes in four games played on KU’s Europe trip to Switzerland and Paris in August 2012… Scored 2.3 points per game and pulled down four rebounds on the trip… Had three assists and two steals in four games… Made a three-pointer, his only shot in the first game, against AMW France… Played 13 minutes in the final game versus AMW France, scoring two points and pulling down four rebounds.
