An invited walk-on in his fourth year with the Jayhawks… Has been called by staff and teammates as the hardest working player on the team… Adds depth at both guard spots.
Junior Season (2004-05)
Suited up for the first time against Nevada and played in five games on the season… Averaged four points and 11.8 minutes in four exhibition games in Canada over Labor Day weekend… Got his first playing time of the season, dishing out two assists in five minutes against Louisiana-Lafayette… Played in his second game of the season at Villanova… Grabbed a rebound in two minutes at Baylor.
Canada Exhibition (Fall 2004)
Averaged 4.0 points and 11.8 minutes in four exhibition victories… Started and played 34 minutes in the 101-46 win against Langara College… Had nine points, eight assists and four steals against Langara.
Sophomore Season (2003-04)
Saw action in 12 games, playing 1.9 minutes per game… Averaged 0.2 points and 0.2 assists per contest… Had two assists and two steals… Scored his only two points of the season against TCU… Dished out two assists and came up with one steal in five minutes of play against Fort Hays State… Saw action in back-to-back conference games versus Nebraska and Baylor where he played one minute and two minutes respectively… Picked up a steal in one minute of play at Texas on Feb. 23.
Freshman Season (2002-03)
Saw action in 22 games, logging 2.5 minutes per contest… Averaged 0.6 points and 0.3 rebounds per game… Hit one three-point field goal… Made 6-of-8 free throws… Dished out four assists and had three steals… Saw his first action as a Jayhawk on Nov. 19 against Holy Cross, playing two minutes… Scored his first points in a KU uniform on Nov. 22 versus UNC Greensboro, as he hit 1-of-2 free throws… Snagged his first career rebound on against Central Missouri State… Scored a career-high five points against UNC Asheville, going 2-for-3 from the field including hitting his first career three-pointer… Tallied two points and a career-best two rebounds in two minutes of action at Iowa State… Got in for two minutes of action versus Iowa State in the Big 12 Tournament… Scored one point against Arizona State in the second round of the NCAA Tournament… Tied a career-high with five minutes played against Marquette on in the NCAA national semifinals.

Coached by Chris Davis at Lawrence High School… Named the 2002 Sunflower League Player of the Year… A 2002 first-team All-State and first-team All-Metro selection… A finalist for the 2002 DiRenna Award… Finished his career as the second-leading scorer in LHS history with 813 career points… Averaged 15.9 points and 8.0 assists per game as a senior… Led the Lions to an 18-5 record and the 2002 district and Sunflower League titles… Named first-team All-League as a junior… Tabbed the Sunflower League Sophomore of the Year in 2000… Best high school performances included 25 points, 12 assists, eight rebounds and five steals against Shawnee Mission South in 2002 and 27 points, eight assists, eight boards and seven steals versus Free State in 2001… Also earned two letters in baseball at LHS.
