Why Kansas?
I picked Kansas because of the atmosphere and the way they play. They fit me in their system really well and I have a lot of faith in Coach Brandon and have heard nothing but good things.
How would you describe your playing style?
I would say my playing style is very versatile. I can go on the outside, I can be on the inside, it doesn’t really matter. Just put me wherever and I’ll make due.
What is your favorite thing about basketball?
My favorite thing about basketball is the connections you make. I’ve made lifelong friendships and I have mentors and supporters by my side and it’s all from basketball.
Best advice you’ve received?
The best advice I’ve ever received was from my high school basketball coach. She always told me to control what I can control. I think in the game, and even in life, there are so many things that are out of your control so just focusing on what you can control is really important.
Who is your role model?
I’d say my role model is my grandma. I call her “Oma”, but she is my dad’s mom. She’s always been a hard worker and independent and I’ve always looked up to that.
