2008-09 (Junior): One of Kansas[apos] top distance freestyle and backstroke swimmers… Placed 11th in the 200 yard backstroke (1:58.71), 14th in the 100 yard backstroke (56.23), and 20th in the 500 yard freestyle (4:54.68) at the 2009 Big 12 Championships… She earned nine points for KU at the Big 12 Championships… She had Kansas[apos] third-best season times in the 500 and 1000 yard freestyle, and the 100 and 200 yard backstroke events… In addition she had KU[apos]s fifth-best 400 yard I.M. time on the season… Her 200 yard backstroke of 1:58.77 is the third-best in school history… She was named to the Academic All-Big 12 First team… Had a solid performance in the South Dakota and Northern Iowa triangular by finishing second in the 150 yard backstroke in a time of 1:33.07.
2007-08 (Sophomore): Led the Jayhawks in IM and backstroke action her sophomore campaign… Returned to the finals of the 2008 Big 12 Championship meet in the 200-yard back (2:07.61), a 16th-place finish, and the 400-yard IM (4:34.30), also 16th place… Her 400 IM finish at Big 12s was the fourth-fastest team time on the season… Was a member of the 800-yard free relay that placed fourth at Big 12s for a season-best time… Landed fifth on the 200-yard butterfly top-five list with her 2:12.42 fly performance against Northern Iowa… Recorded the third-fastest team time in the 200-yard backstroke at the Nike Cup-Kenyon Invitational… Recorded individual first-place finishes in the 200 backstroke against Drury and Big 12 foe Nebraska… Named to the Academic All-Big 12 Second Team for her work in the classroom during the 2007-08 season.
2006-07 (Freshman): Added depth for Kansas in the IM, backstroke and butterfly events… Competed in the 200-yard backstroke (2:02.46; prelims time, 13th-place finish), 200-yard butterfly (2:08.22; prelims time, 16th-place finish), 200-yard IM (2:07.75, prelims time) and the 400-yard IM (4:27.13; prelims time, 16th-place finish) at the Big 12 Conference Championships, landing in the Kansas 2006-07 season top-five in each event… Competed in the 200 fly, 200 back and 200 IM events at the Missouri, Nebraska and Iowa State meets… Was the third high point finisher for the IM events against Northern Iowa, finishing second in the 100 IM (1:03.17), fourth in the 200 IM (2:13.10) and second in the 400-yard IM (4:37.48)… Placed second in the 100-meter IM at the training trip meet against Northern Michigan (1:09.62)… Was a competitor at both the Terrapin Cup Invitational and at the Nike Cup… Competed in the 400 IM (4:32.34; prelims), finishing 16th, the 200 backstroke (2:04.65), placing 20th, the 200 butterfly (2:10.93; prelims) and the 200 IM (2:10.34; prelims) at the Terrapin Cup Invitational in College Park, Md. … Swam the 100 back, 200 back, 100 butterfly, 200 butterfly, 200 IM, 400 IM and 800-yard freestyle relay at the Nike Cup-Kenyon Invitational.
High School (Kelly Walsh): Holds the Kelly Walsh High School record in the 200 IM… Four-year, all-conference, all-state honors… Holds a top-10 time in all swimming events at Kelly Walsh… 2005 state swimmer of the meet (2005 Wyoming state meet)… 2005 Wyoming swimmer of the year.
