At what age did you start swimming and how did you get into the sport?
- I started swim team when I was 6 on our summer rec team that I still coach for today.
What sport would you play if you did not swim and why?
- Water polo because we used to play it after practices and it was always so much fun.
Why did you choose the University of Kansas?
- I absolutely loved the team and the energy that I got from the girls. They are so fun and supportive and I wanted to be a part of a team environment like the one I saw on my visit.
2024-25 (Freshman)
- Won the 500 free (5:12.74) and was second in the 200 free (1:56.75) at the Sunflower Showdown on October 4.
- Placed third in the 200 fly (2:13.48) against Rockhurst on Dec. 7
- Came in runner-up in the 1000 free (10:07.66) and third in the 500 free (5:02.56) against Iowa State on Feb. 7
- Posted a pair of lifetime bests in the 100 fly (59.43) and 1650 free (15:00.00) at the Big 12 Championship
High SchoolÂ
- Won seven total letters at Middleton High School, competing in both swimming and track and field
- Led her swimming team to four conference championships
- 2020 -Â Honorable Mention All-State in the 200-yard and 500-yard freestyle
- 2021 - Honorable Mention All-State in the 500-yard freestyle
- 2022 - Honorable Mention All-State in the 200-yard and 400-yard freestyle relay events
- 2022 - All-State in the 500-yard and 200-yard freestyle relay events
- 2022 - All-American in the 200-yard freestyle relay
- National Honor Society and High Honor Roll member
