Kennedy Farris and Caroline Crawford earned weekly accolades as announced by the conference Tuesday, with Farris earning her first Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week honors, while Crawford earned her second Big 12 Rookie of the Week award.
Behind 17 kills from graduate senior Jenny Mosser and a career-high 31 digs from sophomore libero Kennedy Farris, Kansas volleyball (5-9) completed a sweep of Texas Tech (5-11) with a four-set victory, 25-17, 27-29, 25-17, 25-20, at Horejsi Family Volleyball Arena Friday evening. The victory was Kansas’ first series sweep of the season.

Due to postponements caused by COVID-19 earlier in the 2020 fall Big 12 volleyball schedule, four Big 12 volleyball conference series will be rescheduled in the spring season. Dates and times will be announced when available.
The Kansas Jayhawks (3-8) topped the Iowa State Cyclones (2-9) in a five-set, back-and-forth battle at Hilton Coliseum. After splitting the first four sets, Kansas pushed the match into extra points and tallied a 17-15 victory to claim the match in the fifth behind another stellar performance by Jenny Mosser.
The Kansas Jayhawks (2-8) travel to Ames, Iowa to play Iowa State (2-8) in Hilton Coliseum Nov. 13-14. The first match between ISU and KU on Nov. 13 is at 6:30 p.m., while the series concluding match is at 4 p.m. on Nov. 14. Both matches are available on the Big 12 Now on ESPN+.
