Adrian Piña serves as the Senior Associate Athletics Director - Development Operations for Kansas Athletics Development, joining the Jayhawks in August 2026. His role is to provide strategic leadership and oversight for the department while focusing on continuous improvement of revenue generation, engagement and stewardship efforts.
Piña comes to Kansas after serving as the Assistant Athletic Director of Annual Giving & Premium Seating for Colorado Athletics since October 2022. While at CU, he was responsible for developing, leading, and implementing the Buff Club's comprehensive annual fund strategy while overseeing premium seating, parking, marketing, and Buff Club communications.
Prior to Colorado, Piña spent six years at Auburn University, with his final role being the Director of Annual Giving for the Tigers Unlimited Foundation. In that position, he oversaw the day-to-day operations of the ticket priority program for football, men's basketball, baseball, and gymnastics as well as all sport specific annual giving clubs. He started with the Auburn Athletics department as an Assistant Director of Ticket Operations where he oversaw all aspects of ticketing and sales for the softball program.
Before arriving to Auburn, Piña served as the Ticket Operations Assistant for Florida Atlantic University Athletics where he oversaw ticketing and sales for softball, women's basketball, volleyball, and soccer. Prior to his time at FAU, Adrian worked for The Aspire Group at Florida International University as a Ticket Sales consultant. During his time in graduate school, he also worked as an event management intern for the Miami Dolphins.
Adrian received his bachelor’s degree in communication from Texas A&M University in 2012 and went on to earn a MBA with a specialization in sport management from Florida Atlantic University in 2016.
A native of Nederland, Texas, Adrian is married to the former Taylor Manus of Davie, Florida, and they have two children.
