Isaiah Robinson-McBride joined Kansas Team Health as an Athletic Counselor for Mental Health and Performance Services (MHAPS) in August 2025. He provides mental health and performance support for student-athletes and is currently the MHAPS liaison for the following teams: Men’s Basketball, Men’s Golf, Rowing, Baseball, and Tennis.
Isaiah earned his bachelor's degree in psychology from Benedictine College in 2018, where he was also a member of the football team, competing as a defensive back from 2014 to 2018. He went on to earn his master's degree in counseling psychology from Avila University in 2021. Since completing his degree, Isaiah has been a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Missouri since 2021 and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Kansas since 2024.
His professional background includes work in school, community, and hospital settings, with practice in both inpatient and outpatient care. He has training and clinical experience in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Functional Family Therapy (FFT).
A native of Fulton, Missouri, Isaiah graduated from Jefferson City High School, where he competed in football and track & field. He currently resides in Kansas City, Missouri, with his fiancée, Nicole, and their dog, Kevin.
