Bio

Lisa Baker joined the Kansas Athletics staff in June 2016 and serves as Accountant in the Business Office. Lisa’s responsibilities include all Cash Bank Recons, Ticket Office Recons, Bank Deposits, AR Invoicing & Reporting, Sales Tax, GL entries and Ticket Integrations.

Baker grew up in Alva, OK, and graduated with an Accounting Degree from Northwestern State University. She attended Alva High School, and named All-District Softball & Basketball, and All-State Track. Her hobbies include playing the piano, photography and watching her sons participate in baseball, football, basketball, piano, orchestra and bowling.

Before coming to KU, The Baker’s moved multiple times due to Cory’s management retail job, but have enjoyed calling Lawrence home. Lisa has worked accounting throughout the Midwest in banking, municipal, agriculture, and restaurant accounting. KU Athletics has definitely been her favorite job by supporting athletes, attending games and participating in activities within our community.

Lisa and her husband Cory, have three sons: Jake, Aidan (AJ), & Boston, and a golden retriever, Miley. Jake graduated from the University of Kansas, and obtaining his Masters, and is former player for KU Baseball. AJ attends the University of Kansas majoring in Mechanical Engineering w/Bio Engineering minor, and is also a KU Bowler. Boston is a senior at Free State High School and plays football, basketball, and baseball.
