Luke Marbach joined the Kansas baseball staff in December 2023. Marbach handles the daily operating functions within the program, coordinates, markets and administers summer camps, manages departmental activities, outreach to alumni and boosters, assists with on-campus recruiting events, and is responsible for organizing, budgeting, and coordinating team travel.

Marbach came to Kansas after spending the last two years at Abilene Christian in various roles. Marbach served as the director of baseball operations at Abilene Christian from Aug. 2022 to Nov. 2023 and the director of player development from Aug. 2021 to Sept. 2022.

Prior to being hired at Abilene Christian, Marbach played five seasons at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. Playing at first base, Marbach was named to the All-Southland Third Team and earned a spot on the Southland All-Defensive Team in 2021. He also received Southland All-Academic First Team honors in 2021 and was a Southland All-Academic Second Team selection in 2019.

A native of New Braunfels, Texas, Marbach graduated from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology in 2020 and his MBA in 2021.
