Graduate Assistant, Student-Athlete Development

Lyric Moore serves as a Graduate Assistant for KU Leads, which is a student-athlete development program under Kansas Athletics. Lyric's position is facilitating the development of leadership abilities in student-athletes by mentoring first-year student-athletes through the Leadership Academy and other KU Leads programs. Additionally, Lyric enhances the professional development of student-athletes through Jayhawk Career Blueprint events and programs by aiding in development, outreach, and involvement.

Lyric is originally from Oakland, California and was recruited to join KU's Softball team from 2020 to 2024. Throughout this time Lyric obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Arts & Sciences. Lyric is now enrolled in a Master's program in Construction Project Management at Kansas and is anticipated to complete the program in May 2026.
