Mason Lockwood joined Kansas Team Health in June of 2025. He currently serves as Assistant Athletic Trainer for the KU volleyball and rowing teams.
Prior to his time at Kansas, Lockwood spent one year as an athletic training fellow at Duke University, working with the men’s tennis team. He also gained professional experience the previous summer as a summer athletic training Intern with the Indianapolis Colts.
Lockwood earned his Master’s Degree in Athletic Training from Boise State University in 2024, where he gained experience working with the women’s soccer and basketball teams.
Mason received his Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology from the University of Oregon in 2021, as well as a minor in Spanish. During his time there, he worked with the football and women’s volleyball teams as a student athletic training aide.
