Sasha Newkirk has joined Kansas Team Health as an Athletic Trainer for track & field and cross country.
Newkirk earned her Master of Athletic Training degree from Oklahoma State University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in athletic training and minors in dance, communication, and psychology. During her undergraduate career, Sasha gained experience working with Oklahoma softball, soccer, football, track & field, and gymnastics.
While completing her master’s degree, she worked with Oklahoma State cross country, track & field, spirit and mascot programs, as well as the University of Texas track & field team. Sasha is a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer, a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, CPR/AED certified, and IASTM HawkGrips certified.
