In the first game at Hoglund Ballpark in three weeks, the Kansas Jayhawks defeated the Creighton Bluejays 3-1 on Wednesday afternoon. Sophomore Chase Jans led the Jayhawks at the plate with a multi-hit game, while junior Thaniel Trumper tossed 4.2 scoreless innings in relief.
Five-year Kansas defender Kaela Hansen has signed a professional contract with ŽFK Spartak Subotica and is actively playing with the squad in Serbia. Hansen is the 21st player in program history to play soccer professionally.

The Kansas Men’s Golf Team battled frost, rain and cold temperatures on Monday at the opening day of the Duck Invitational at Eugene Country Club. Despite the difficult conditions, the Jayhawks are currently in fifth place as the second round came to a halt thanks to darkness.
The Kansas softball team (17-12) heads to east to take on the Kansas City Roos (5-24) for midweek action Tuesday, March 28 at 6 p.m. CT at the Urban Youth Academy.
