LAWRENCE, Kan. — No. 14 Kansas volleyball (15–8, 6–3 Big 12) returns to the road this week looking to regain momentum after a split home stand. The Jayhawks will face Cincinnati on Thursday, Oct. 30, before traveling to Morgantown to take on West Virginia on Saturday, Nov. 1. Both matches will stream live on ESPN+.
"We had one of our best offensive performances and then turned around and had one of our worst," said head coach Matt Ulmer. "We have to continue building better habits on both sides of the ball. The conference is talented and deep, and you have to bring a high level of play to find success. This week, we'll face two tough opponents on their home courts, and it will be a great test to see if we can respond with discipline and more consistent execution."
Kansas enters the week ranked among the Big 12's top programs both offensively and defensively, averaging 13.06 kills, 12.14 assists, and 2.59 blocks per set. The Jayhawks lead the conference in total kills (1,175), assists (1,093), and blocks (233), while holding opponents to just a .170 hitting percentage, the best mark in the Big 12 and 23rd nationally.

Ptacek has surpassed her freshman total of 80 blocks by 20, while Papac reached the 100-block milestone in her debut campaign. As a team, Kansas ranks second nationally in total blocks and first in the Big 12.
Offensively, Jovana Zelenovic and Rhian Swanson continue to pace the attack, each averaging more than 3.0 kills per set. Setter Katie Dalton and has surpassed the 50-assist mark in two of her last four matches. Libero Ryan White anchors the back row with 351 digs (3.90 per set), ranking second in the Big 12, and is just 179 digs shy of 1,500.
