Kansas leads the all-time series 47-37, including victories in five of the last seven meetings. Since Missouri departed the Big 12 Conference in 2012, the Jayhawks and Tigers have met just once, a 75-47 Kansas victory in the second round of the 2023 WNIT at Allen Fieldhouse. Kansas led wire-to-wire in that game and went on to win four more games to claim the WNIT Championship.
Nichols has led Kansas in scoring twice in three games after going for 15 points and six assists in the win over Lamar. She is averaging 19.3 points and 6.7 assists per game to lead the Jayhawks, while ranking fourth on the team with 3.0 rebounds per game.

It was the fourth career double-double for Williams, who is third on the team with 11.7 points per game while leading the Jayhawks with 7.7 rebounds per game. Named to the Big 12 All-Freshman Team last season, Williams is shooting 66.7 percent (14-21) from the field this season, and she's tied for the team lead with two blocked shots.
Senior guard
Elle Evans has provided a spark off the bench in the past two games, including hitting 4-of-6 three-point attempts against Lamar. Evans is fourth on the team in scoring at 8.0 points per game, with all 14 of her made field goals coming from beyond the three-point arc.
Senior forward
Lilly Meister has started all three games for the Jayhawks. She's ranked fifth on the team with 7.0 points per game and second with 6.7 rebounds per game.
Kansas freshman
Jaliya Davis scored in double figures in each of her first two games and was earned a spot on the Big 12's Starting Five for week one after averaging 19.0 points and 4.5 rebounds per game in wins over Kansas City and Northwestern State. Davis, the program's first McDonald's All-American since 2003, was unavailable for the Lamar game on Wednesday.
Missouri also enters the showdown with a 3-0 following home wins over Central Arkansas, Tulane and Arkansas State by an average of 12.3 points. The Tigers are averaging 84.0 points per game, led by Grace Slaughter, who is scoring 21.3 points on average.
Saturday's game will be the 85th all-time meeting between Kansas and Missouri in a series dating back to 1973. It's the fourth-most played rivalry in Kansas women's basketball history, trailing only Kansas State (133), Iowa State (100) and Nebraska (86).
