LAWRENCE, Kan. – The Kansas Jayhawks are set to play a second consecutive true road game with a trip to Springfield, Missouri, to face Missouri State on Sunday, Dec. 7.

Tipoff from Great Southern Bank Arena is set for 2 p.m. CT from Welsh-Ryan Arena and will be broadcast on ESPN+, with Mike McClure (play-by-play) and Carly Stubblefield (analyst) on the call. Fans can also listen to the game on the Jayhawk Radio Network from Learfield, with Steven Davis calling the action.

Kansas bounced back from an 0-2 weekend at the Fort Myers Tip-Off with a 74-62 road win at Northwestern on Wednesday night. The win was KU's first road win against a Big Ten opponent since an overtime victory at Wisconsin in 2010.

Sophomore forward
Regan Williams scored a career-high 22 points and pulled down nine rebounds at Northwestern, hitting 11-of-20 field goal attempts while also setting a career-high by playing 37 minutes.

Senior guard
Elle Evans knocked down three second-half three-pointers and finished with 15 points in the win, while junior guard
S'Mya Nichols added 14 points and seven assists.

Williams topped the 20-point mark for the second time in her career at Northwestern, improving her scoring average to 10.9 points per game for the season in the process. She is KU's second-leading rebounder, averaging 6.4 per game, and shooting 54.3 percent (44-81) from the field.

Evans was 3-for-4 from three-point range at Northwestern, improving to 27-48 from long distance this season. Evans leads the Big 12 and ranks No. 3 nationally, shooting 56.3% from three this season and she's 19th among active Division I players with 206 career 3FG made.

Nichols, who was named to the Big 12 Starting Five after scoring a career-high 40 points vs. Georgia last week, reached double figures in scoring for the seventh time in eight games with 14 points at Northwestern. She is third in the Big 12 and No. 19 nationally in scoring, averaging 19.4 points per game for the season, while ranking second nationally in both free throws made (64) and attempted (76).

Senior forward
Lilly Meister grabbed 11 rebounds at Northwestern, her third time with 10+ rebounds in the past five games. Meister leads the Jayhawks and ranks fifth in the Big 12 with 7.7 rebounds per game.

Freshman guard
Keeley Parks has joined the starting lineup for KU in the last three games. She scored nine points at Northwestern and has now made at least one three-pointer in five-straight games.

Opposing the Jayhawks is a Missouri State team that has won two-straight games and improved to 7-2 on the year with a 72-66 victory at Tulane on Thursday night. The Lady Bears are led by Kaemyn Bekemeier, who averages 16.4 points and 8.3 rebounds per game.

Sunday's matchup will be the 16th all-time meeting between Kansas and Missouri State, but only the second since 1992. KU leads the series 9-6, but the teams have split eight previous games played in Springfield. MSU won the last matchup, earning an 87-64 victory in Lawrence on Nov. 13, 2016.
