LAWRENCE, Kan. - The Kansas women's tennis team will travel to Houston and No. 17 UCF this weekend in a pair of Big 12 matches. The Jayhawks will play Houston on Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. CT and will play No. 17 UCF on Sunday morning at 11 a.m. CT.
Kansas comes into the weekend with an 8-6 overall record and a 2-2 record in conference play. The Jayhawks moved up in this week's rankings, now sitting at No. 40 in the country. Houston comes into the match with a 3-7 overall record and an 0-4 record in conference play. UCF is 12-1 on the season and 4-0 in conference action.
The Jayhawks are coming off a weekend in which the team beat No. 30 Arizona State 4-2 and lost to No. 31 Arizona 2-4.Â
Kansas played both Houston and UCF last season in Lawrence, where the Jayhawks defeated Houston in a 4-0 sweep, but lost to UCF in a close 3-4 match.
