LAWRENCE, Kan. - The Kansas women's tennis team will head west to Utah to take on the Utah Utes on Thursday and the BYU Cougars on Saturday in a pair of Big 12 matches. Both matches are scheduled to start at 12 p.m. CT.
Kansas moved up in this week's team rankings, now sitting at #39 in the country. Kansas' Gracie Mulville remained at #67 in singles rankings.
The Jayhawks enter the match with a 10-8 record on the season and 4-4 in conference play. The Utes come into the weekend with a 7-9 record and 2-5 in conference play. The last meeting between Kansas and Utah was in 2007, in which Kansas won in a close 4-3 match.Â
Kansas will then travel to Provo, Utah to take on BYU. The Cougars sit at 14-6 on the season with a 4-3 conference record. They will host Iowa State on Thursday before taking on the Jayhawks on Saturday. Kansas faced off against BYU last season in Lawrence, in which the Jayhawks defeated the Cougars 5-2.
