LAWRENCE, Kan. — Kansas softball has announced its 2025 fall schedule, giving fans an early look at the Jayhawks ahead of the upcoming spring season.
"Fall ball is always an exciting time for our team because it gives us a chance to see where we're at and what we need to keep building on," said Kansas head coach
Jennifer McFalls. "With 10 new players on the roster, these games are a great opportunity to develop chemistry and evaluate players in different roles. We're especially looking forward to the matchups with Missouri and Nebraska, which will provide a strong test and give us valuable feedback heading into the spring."
The Jayhawks open their fall slate at Arrocha Ballpark on Friday, Sept. 26, with a 5 p.m. (CT) matchup against Baker University. KU then hosts Rockhurst on Wednesday, Oct. 1, at 6 p.m. under the lights in Lawrence.
Kansas will make its lone road trip of the fall on Saturday, Oct. 4, traveling to Columbia, Missouri, for a 1 p.m. contest against the Tigers. The Jayhawks then return home to face Ottawa University on Wednesday, Oct. 8, at 5 p.m.
The fall schedule concludes with a marquee matchup against Nebraska on Saturday, Oct. 18, with first pitch scheduled for 5 p.m. at Arrocha Ballpark.
Kansas enters the fall with a veteran squad, returning 17 players from last season, while adding nine newcomers and one transfer to the roster.
The fall slate will provide the Jayhawks with the opportunity to evaluate lineups, integrate new faces, and build momentum before the 2026 spring campaign.
