LAWRENCE, Kan. – With the 2025 season officially underway, Kansas fans are welcome to attend the StorageMart Border Showdown Watch Party at the new David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 6 beginning at 1:30 p.m. CT.

The watch party features the StorageMart Border Showdown between Kansas and Missouri with kickoff scheduled for 2:30 p.m. CT. The rivalry has been played 120 times dating back to 1891, which is tied for the 10th-most played rivalry in all of college football. The meeting will be the first since 2011 and the first to be played on either campus since 2006.

Fans will have the opportunity for self-guided tours throughout the stadium, a family fun zone on the turf, open field seating and special performances and appearances by the KU spirit squad and band.
Blankets are allowed in, but are subject to be searched.
Entrance into the stadium will be at Gate 5 (North East corner) through the Garlinghouse Plaza and the Horejsi Ciciora Family Atrium (West side).
Entrance to the field will be at the North East corner. Between sections 119 and 17.
Concessions in the north end concourse level will be open.
Pizza, hot dogs, brats, burgers, snacks, and beverages will all be available.
No food or beverages (EXCEPT FOR WATER) are allowed on the field.
No lawn chairs will be permitted for seating onto the field.
Blankets are allowed in for field seating.
Seating options are also available on the West and North sides of the stadium.
Those planning on attending the open house can park in Lots 56, 57, 60, 92 and 94 for free. Parking is also available in the Mississippi Street Parking Garage with hourly rates applying.
Fans can enjoy new amenities at the new David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium, including enhanced sightlines and seating, a videoboard that is 2.5x larger and 60 feet closer to the field, more food and beverage offerings and more. New food and beverage options will be available for purchase throughout the stadium.

Kansas football enters Leipold's fifth season in Lawrence featuring a talented roster led by senior quarterback Jalon Daniels. Daniels started all 12 games for the Jayhawks last season and finished strong, leading the team to wins in three of its final four games, including three straight wins over ranked opponents. Kansas also welcomes back several accomplished starters on the offensive and defensive lines in Bryce Foster, Kobe Baynes, Dean Miller, Tommy Dunn and DJ Withers, among others, along with a nationally recognized transfer class and a group of emerging playmakers poised to make a difference in 2025.
