Kansas enters Wednesday's contest with an 11-4 overall record and a 1-2 mark in Big 12 play following an 83-68 road victory at UCF on Jan. 4. Freshman forward
Jaliya Davis led the Jayhawks with 26 points, while senior forward

Davis was named the Big 12 Freshman of the Week on Monday after back-to-back 20-point performances to open the 2026 calendar year. Making her return after missing 10 games due to injury, Davis averaged 23.5 points and 6.0 rebounds per game in wins over West Virginia and UCF.
Kansas has been dominant at home this season, posting a 7-1 record at Allen Fieldhouse and opening the year with seven straight home victories. The Jayhawks have now won 40 consecutive non-conference home games and are 61-15 at Allen Fieldhouse since the start of the 2021-22 season, including a 15-game home winning streak that spanned nearly the entire 2024 calendar year.
Meister delivered a standout performance at UCF, connecting on 9-of-12 shots from the field, including a three-pointer, while adding 3-of-5 free throws. She has scored in double figures in six of the last eight games and surpassed her previous career high of 20 points, which she reached three times during her career at Indiana. She is also closing in on Kansas' all-time free throw record, currently with 497 career makes—just eight shy of Lynette Woodard's program record of 505.
Senior guard
