AMES, Iowa – Kansas swim and dive heads to Ames, Iowa, on Friday, Feb. 6, to take on the Iowa State Cyclones in its last dual meet of the season.
"We're looking forward wrapping up the regular season with our longtime rival Iowa State," says head swimming coach Clark Campbell. "Our meet brings out the best in both teams and is a perfect tune up for the championship season."
This meet follows a historic win for the Jayhawks, who defeated Arkansas 163-137 in its previous dual meet, Jan. 23 at Robinson Natatorium. KU currently holds a 4-1 record in dual meets ahead of the Big 12 Championship, which takes place later this month on Feb. 24-28 in Greensboro, North Carolina.
The meet marks the second time the Jayhawks and Cyclones have met this season after previously facing off in the Hawkeye Invitational. In that competition, Kansas secured fifth and Iowa State landed in eighth.
