LAWRENCE, Kan. - The Kansas Track and Field team is scheduled to host the Rock Chalk Classic on May 1-2 at
Rock Chalk Park. The meet will feature seven World Athletics Continental Tour Challenger Events and senior day on Saturday.Â
"I want a great competition for everyone this weekend," Kansas head coach Stanley Redwine said. "It's our last home meet and one of the last meets before Big 12's, in addition to being able to honor our seniors. The athletes want to show out well and I think they will… More than anything, I want a lot of fans to come and support the team because these athletes deserve it. We're going to have some amazing alumni here as well, both competing and supporting the team. All-in-all, we want the athletes to compete well and prepare for the postseason, but also want the athletes to have a good time and enjoy themselves."Â
