Kansas Track & Field Earns 2025-26 USTFCCCA All-Academic Team Honors, 27 Jayhawks Earn Individual Awards

Kansas Track & Field Earns 2025-26 USTFCCCA All-Academic Team Honors, 27 Jayhawks Earn Individual Awards

LAWRENCE, Kan. - The USTFCCCA has announced its All-Academic Award teams, which honor teams and student-athletes from across the country that excelled in the classroom and on the track.

Both Kansas track & field teams were honored with team All-Academic Awards, with the men's team achieving a 3.39 GPA and the women's team achieving a 3.50 GPA.

In addition to both teams earning honors, 27 individual KU student-athletes received All-Academic awards, comprising 14 men and 13 women.

In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, student-athletes must have had a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and must have finished the indoor season ranked in the top 96 in any individual event or in the top 48 in any relay. Alternatively to the indoor standards, they must have participated in any round of the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships or finished the season ranked in the top 48 in the East or West region during the outdoor season.

The Jayhawks' men's team was represented by Dimitrios Antonatos, Oliver Duffy, Conor Dunback, Ryo Higuchi, Michael Joseph, Grant Lockwood, Jack Markstrom, Devan Mathis, Aaron Merritt, Sawyer Schmidt, John Swabik, Tanner Talley, Quenton Walion, and Kierson Wicks.

KU's women's team was represented by Ethel Amissah, Pearl Awanya, Maddie Fey, Sky Hagan, Alice Lindgren Engelblom, Kat Meacham, Mason Meinershagen, Aaliyah Moore, Kori Randle, Deshana Skeete, Sidney Smith, Madison Snody, and Barbora Stejfova.
