Also placed seventh in the discus throw with a best mark of 38.62 meters (126-8 ft.) … Finished fifth and sixth, respectively, in the javelin throw (50.22 meters [164-9 ft.]) and 110 meter hurdles (14.71) at the Jack Christiansen Invite … Set a personal best decathlon of 7458 at the Bryan Clay Multis to bring home the silver medal. On his way to second place he set personal bests in the 100 meter dash (10.84) to place third, shot put (12.72 meters [41-8.75 ft.]) to place sixth, 110 meter hurdles (14.26) to finish first, and 1500 meter run (4:28.63) to finish third. Also won the long jump … Set two personal bests at the Border Dual in the pole vault and javelin throw.
