Competed five times for the Jayhawks … Opened the season with a personal best long jump of 6.79 meters (22-3.5 ft.) to place seventh at the Jayhawk Spring Fling … Set a personal best decathlon of 6294 points at the Jim Click Shootout, placing eighth. Set personal bests in the 100 meter dash (11.37), 400 meter dash (52.27), discus throw (29.43 meters [97-7 ft.]), javelin throw (43.56 meters [142-11 ft.]) and 1500 meter run (4:52.15 and third place) … Set a personal best 110 meter hurdles time of 15.46 at the Kansas Relays, also finished fourth as part of the 4x400 meter relay team and placed fourth in the pole vault with a clearance of 4.82 meters (15-9.75 ft.) … Placed eighth in the pole vault with a 4.76 meters (15-7.25 ft.) clearance at the Rock Chalk Classic, also finished 20th in the long jump with a 5.86 meters (19-2.75 ft.) jump … Finished the year with a sixth place pole vault clearance of 4.92 meters (16-1.75 ft.) at the Ward Haylett Invitational.

Set a personal best high jump of 1.81 meters (5-11.25 ft.) and placed second in the pole vault with a 4.85 meters (15-11ft.) clearance … Competed in the pole vault at both the Steve Miller Invitational and Tyson Invitational but did not record clearances … Set a personal best 4.93 meters (16-2 ft.) pole vault at the Arkansas Qualifier to finish eighth, also ran a 8.62 second 60 meter hurdles … Closed the season with a personal best 5215 in the heptathlon at the Big 12 Championships, placing 11th. Is the son of Sarah and John Kasper … Has two siblings, a younger sister Reese and an older brother Carver … Father, John, was on the US Olympic Bobsled Team … Mother, Sarah, played soccer, softball, and basketball at the University of Central Missouri … Brother, Carver, played baseball and did track and field at the University of Central Missouri … Sister, Reese, is a member of the Kansas State track and field team … plans to major in Finance and Supply Chain Management in hopes of joining his dad in the business field and starting his own business.
