LAWRENCE, Kan. – No. 22 Kansas volleyball will host the Kansas Invitational this weekend, where the Jayhawks are scheduled to face South Dakota State on Friday and Tulsa on Sunday in Horejsi Family Volleyball Arena.
Kansas (2-3) bounced back on Tuesday evening with a three-set victory over Wichita State in their home opener.

Taylor Stanley has led the Jayhawks offensively with 82 kills and 4.92 kills per set average, posting double-digit kills in all five matches this season. Stanley leads the team in blocks at 22 and 1.10 blocks per set alongside junior middle blocker
Reese Ptacek with 20 blocks and 1.00 blocks per set. Junior libero
Olivia Hasbrook has paced the back row with a team-high 60 digs averaging 3.00 digs per set.
The Jayhawks open the weekend on Friday at 1 p.m. CT against South Dakota State. SDSU and Tulsa will play a neutral-site match on Saturday at 4 p.m. CT followed by Kansas closing out the weekend against Tulsa at 2 p.m. CT on Sunday.
Kansas has remained firmly in the AVCA Top 25, checking in at No. 22 this week. The Jayhawks look to continue building their résumé and extend their momentum with the second of three-straight home matches.
