What's the significance behind your jersey number?
- It's a famous Chicago number and shout out Nick Timberlake and Danny Manning.
- I was always into sports since day one. My mother worked for the White Sox and signed me up to play many sports. Also, my Dad was a college coach and me being around the game of basketball at that young age made me fall in love with the game.
- I usually take a shower before I head over to the arena for a game.
Tell us about your favorite basketball moment as a player or fan.
- Winning the first JUCO National Championship in John A. Logan history and winning 31 games in a row in that season.
Who do you model your game off of?
- I like to watch and model my game off of people with my similar size, players like Mikal Bridges, Herb Jones, Jerami Grant, etc.
Who is your favorite basketball player?
- LeBron James.

An invited walk-on who did not see any action in his first season at Kansas in 2023-24 … Played in four games in 2024-25 … Will graduate from KU in May 2025 with a degree in liberal arts and sciences … Prior to KU, played two seasons at John A. Logan College, including its 2023 NJCAA D1 National Championship season … Father, Gene, played college basketball at Illinois (1990-94) and coached at UIC, DePaul, Virginia and Notre Dame as an assistant and was head coach at Toledo from 2008-10. Gene Cross is the director of scouting and administration for the New York Knicks.
