HIGH SCHOOL: Winner of the 2012 Kenneth Smith Award, presented to the top male golfer in the Kansas City area based on performance, academics, leadership and community service… A three-time Sunflower League golf champion at Shawnee Mission Northwest High School… Closed his prep career with a runner-up finish at the 2012 KSHSAA Class 6A State Championship after winning three consecutive tournaments as part of nine top-10 finishes in 10 events… Named to the Kansas City Star’s All-Metro First Team in 2012 after earning honorable mention honors from the publication as a junior… Finished third at the 2011 KSHSAA Class 6A State Championship as a junior… School record holder for most career medals won… Also started on the Cougars’ basketball team for two years, served as team captain and was named team MVP after his senior campaign… Four year member of the SMNW honor roll.
PERSONAL: Son of Neil and Julie Foth… Has one sister, Summer… Both parents went to Kansas… Plans to major in sport management.
