2010-11 (Senior): At the 2011 Big 12 Championships, scored eight points for Kansas finishing 12th in the 200 butterfly with a career best time of 2:03.03. Finished 14th in the 400 IM at Big 12[apos]s, with a season best time of 4:27.40 and finished 27th in the 200 IM… Came in second (2:05.23), in 200 Fly versus South Dakota/Northern Iowa… Earned second place honors along with her sister (Brittany), who both had the exact same time of2:04.71 in 200 Fly versusNebraska. Also took fourth against the Cornhuskers in the 200 IM (2:09.29)… Finished second again in 200 Fly with 2:06.23 time at Vanderbilt… Had one of her best meets of the season was at the Georgia Fall Invite where she swam a career best 2:05.84 time in the 200 IMand a season best time in the 100 butterfly (57.99)… Swam to third place finish in 200 Fly (2:06.55), versus Missouri… Earned perfect (4.0), grade point average every semester as a student-athlete … Was inducted into the Rho Chi academic honor society of the School of Pharmacy.
2009-10 (Junior): Placed 15th in the 400-yard IM (4:30.01), 16th in the 1650-yard freestyle (17:42.84) and 21st in the 200-yard butterfly (2:07.15) at the Big 12 Championships… Finished second in the 200 butterfly (2:07.32) against UNO… Took third in the 300-yard IM (3:24.30) against Iowa State… Placed third in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:35.13) and third in the 200 butterfly (2:08.05) at the LMU/UCSD double dual… Took third in the 400 IM (4:33.94) against Drury… Helped earn six points for KU in three relays at the Big 12 Relays… An Academic All-Big 12 First Team selection with a perfect 4.0 GPA… Named to the Big 12 Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll and Athletic Director[apos]s Honor Roll for Fall 2009 and Spring 2010.
2008-09 (Sophomore): A versatile swimmer that provides great individual medley and distance freestyle depth… Placed 10th in the 1650 yard freestyle (16:58.67), 14th in the 200 yard butterfly (2:04.22) and 14th in the 400 yard I.M. (4:24.81) at the 2009 Big 12 Championships… She tallied 13 points for Kansas at the Big 12 Championships… She had the team[apos]s second-fastest 1650 yard freestyle time of the season… In addition, she also ranked in the top five of team season-best times in the 200 and 400 yard I.M. and the 200 yard butterfly… Twin-sister, Brittany, is also on the Jayhawk swim team… She was named to the Academic All-Big 12 First team with a 4.0 GPA.
2007-08 (Freshman): An instant impact in IM, butterfly and breaststroke action her freshman campaign… Landed top-five team times for the 2007-08 season in the 100 (Nebraska) and 200-yard (Big 12s) butterfly, the 200 and 400-yard IM (Big 12s) and 200-yard breaststroke (Iowa)… Finished second in the 100-yard fly against Nebraska-Omaha… Placed second in the 50-yard fly against Illinois State on the team[apos]s winter training trip to Puerto Rico… A 2008 Big 12 Championship competitor for the `Hawks… Returned to finals of the 200-yard butterfly (2:04.73) and the 400-yard IM (4:30.61), placing 12th in both at Big 12s… Also recorded a season-best time in the 200-yard IM (2:09.23) at the Big 12 meet… Represented Kansas at the Nike Cup-Kenyon Invitational in the 200-yard medley relay and the 200, 400 and 800-yard free relays… Additionally placed ninth in the 200 fly, 16th in the 100-yard fly and 18th in the 200-yard IM at the Nike Cup-Kenyon Invite.
High School (Bentonville): A four-year letterwinner in swimming, a three-year letterwinner in cross country… Also lettered one year in indoor track and one year in outdoor track… Cross Country team won conference and state in 2004 and 2006 and conference in 2005… Swimming team won both conference and state 2004-07… Member of the outdoor track team that won state in 2007… Won the 100-yard freestyle and 100-yard butterfly in 2006 and the 100-yard freestyle in 2007 at the Arkansas High School State meet… A member of the medley relay that holds the Arkansas State record… Received all-conference and all-state honors in swimming and track from 2005-07 and cross-country 2004-06… A USA Scholastic All-American from 2005-07… Recipient of the Scholastic Principal Award 2005-07… Named to the high school Honor Roll all four years of high school.
Personal: Parents are Mark and Helen Potter… Twin sister, Brittany, was also a member of the Kansas swim team…A pharmacy major.
