2003-04 (Junior): Was the only KU swimmer to qualify for the NCAA Championships for the second consecutive season… At the NCAAs, she finished 34th in the 50 free, 26th in the 100 free and 24th in the 100 fly races… Set new career-bests in the 100 back (56.78) at the Minnesota Invite and the 100 fly (54.30) at the conference championships… Collected 17 individual wins: 4-50 free, 6-100 free, 2-200 free, 3-100 fly, 1-100 back and 1-200 IM… Named the Tammy Thomas co-MVP… Recorded the fastest times in the 50, 100, 200 freestyle events as well as the 100 butterfly and the second-best time in the 100 backstroke… Was a member of the 200, 400 and 800 freestyle relay teams and the 200 and 400 medley relay teams, all of which set new KU school records… Selected to the All-Big 12 First Team… Named First Team Academic All-Big 12. 2002-03 (Sophomore): Was the only KU swimmer to qualify for the NCAA Championships… Set a career-best in the 200 free (1:48.95), taking 29th place at the NCAA meet… Also, finished 33rd in the 100 free and 37th in the 50 free at the NCAA Championships… Set three second-best all-time KU times in the 50, 100 and 200 free… Was a member of the 200 medley relay team that set a new school record at the Big 12 Championships in a time of 1:43.56… Finaled in two events at the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championships… Took fifth in the 50 freestyle (23.27), sixth in the 200 freestyle (1:49.95) and reached the consolation finals in the 100 freestyle (50.61) with a ninth-place finish… Recorded the fastest times in the 50, 100 and 200 freestyle events for KU last season… Won the 500 freestyle (5:06.15) against Southern Illinois in the first meet of the season… Collected second place finishes against Missouri in the 50 freestyle (24.19) and the 100 butterfly (58.26)… Took first in the 200 freestyle against SMS and Wyoming, clocking in at 1:52.96… Had a career-best time of 22.96 in the 50 freestyle at the Nike Cup Invitational in Chapel Hill, N.C… The time marked the second-fastest in school history, and making her one of two Kansas swimmers to break 22 seconds in the event… The performance earned her Big 12 Swimmer of the Month honors for November… Captured first place in the 100 freestyle (52.16) against Texas A&M and second place in the 200 freestyle (1:52.04)… Against Colorado State and Minnesota, placed first in the 50 freestyle with a time of 24.31… In a dual versus Arkansas, placed first in the 100 backstroke (57.55), second in the 100 freestyle (52.09) and second in the 100 butterfly (57.62)… Won the 200 freestyle against Iowa State, timing in at 1:52.60… In the last meet of the year, earned two second place finishes in the 100 butterfly (58.44) and the 100 backstroke (59.54) at the Arkansas Invitational… Earned Academic All-American and Academic All-Big 12 first team honors. 2001-02 (Freshman): Notched 16 individual event wins… Was named Co-Most Valuable Swimmer and Newcomer of the Year for KU… Was KU[apos]s leading point scorer… Qualified for the National Swimming Championships and finished 45th in the 100 free and 55th in the 100 fly… Swam on the 400 medley relay that finished 11th at nationals… Finaled in two events at the Big 12 Championships… Finished fifth in the 200 free and seventh in the 100 free… Reached the consolation final of the 100 back, taking 11th… Held four of KU[apos]s fastest season times in the 50 free, 100 free, 200 free and 100 fly… Also had the second-fastest time in the 100 back… Won the 100 fly vs. Southern Illinois… Took first in the 100 and 200 free against Missouri… Collected three victories against SMS and Houston in the 50 free, 100 back and 100 fly, setting pool records in the 50 free, and 100 fly… Took fourth in the 100 free and ninth in the 50 free at the Minnesota Invitational… Took first in the 100 fly and 200 free vs. Wyoming… Won the 200 free against Texas A&M… Notched three more victories against Nebraska in the 100 back, 100 free and 100 fly… Won the 100 free against Iowa and Iowa State.
