2010-11 (Senior): Finished her swimming career as the only Jayhawk to represent Kansas at the 2011 NCAA Championships, where she placed 34th in the 100 backstroke and 41st in the 200 backstroke… Scored 49-points for KU at the 2011 Big 12 Championships as she led off the 200 medley relay which finished third and the 400 medley relay that placed fourth. Individually, Kuzhil placed ninth in the 100 and 200 yard backstroke (53.64/1:55.44) at Big 12[apos]s… Swept first place honors in 100 and 200 backstroke for fourth straight meet with 58.19 and 2:00.40 times versus South Dakota/Northern Iowa… Finished first in 100 back (56.91) and 200 back (2:03.87) against Nebraska… Continued her streak against Arkansas with first place finishes in 100 (55.78) and 200 back 2:00.50)… Started her four meet streak against Vanderbilt (56.97), 100 back and (2:02.57), 200 back… At the Georgia Fall Invitational, swam to a first place finish and earned an invite to the NCAA Championships in the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:54.43… Broke her own Robinson Natatorium record in 200 backstroke with 1:58.44 time versus Drury/North Dakota. Finished first in that event as well as 200 back (56.69) during double-dual… Took second in 100 back with 56.01 time versus Missouri… Kuzhil owned the top times on her team in the 100 and 200 yard backstrokes during the 2010-11 season by a combined3.26 advantageover second place finishers… Named Big 12 Swimmer of the Week (January 12, 2011) and 2010-11 All-American.
2009-10 (Junior): One of two Jayhawks that represented KU at the NCAA Championships… Broke two school records with her ninth-place finishes in the 100-yard backstroke (52.02) and the 200-yard backstroke (1:53.44) at the meet… Earned All-America Honorable Mention Accolades for her two ninth-place finishes… Qualified for NCAAs with her second place finish in the 100-yard backstroke (53.05) and her fourth place finish in the 200-yard backstroke (1:54.76) at the Big 12 Championships… Recorded a career best time in the 50-yard freestyle, placing fifth (22.86)… Also led the 400-yard IM relay team to a fourth place finish (3:39.97) and the 200-yard medley relay team to a third place finish (1:39.35) at the Big 12 meet… Broke the Robinson Natatorium pool records for the 100 backstroke (55.20) and the 200 backstroke (1:59.42) vs. Nebraska… Won the 150-yard backstroke (1:27.00) at Iowa State… Placed first in the 100-yard backstroke (55.58) and the 200 backstroke (1:59.59) at the UCLA/Fresno State double dual… Was crowned champion the 200 backstroke (2:02.86) at the LMU/UCSD double dual… Took first in the 100 backstroke (56.36) vs. Drury… Placed first in the 100 backstroke (55.61) vs. Missouri… Won the 100 backstroke (55.10) and 200 backstroke (2:01.37) at the Arkansas/Florida double dual… Helped KU score 19 of its 43 points at the Big 12 Relays, participating in six relays… Nominee for 2009-10 College Swimming Break-Out Swimmer… An Academic All-Big 12 Second Team selection… Named to the Big 12 Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll and Athletic Director[apos]s Honor Roll for Fall 2009 and Spring 2010.
2008-09 (Sophomore): Kansas[apos] top newcomer of the 2008-09 season and one of its top swimmers on the entire team… Earned a berth at the 2009 NCAA Championships where she placed 21st in the 100 yard backstroke with a school-record breaking time of 53.06… She swam the backstroke leg of the third-place finishing KU 200 and 400 yard medley relay teams at the 2009 Big 12 Championships, which broke the school-records with times of 1:38.45 and 3:38.45… She was also a member of the school-record breaking 200 yard freestyle relay team (1:31.39) at the Big 12 Championships… Placed third in the 100 yard backstroke (53.63), eighth in the 200 yard backstroke (1:58.42) and 13th in the 50 yard freestyle (23.38) at the 2009 Big 12 Championships… Is the current school-record holder in both the 100 and 200 yard backstroke events… Individually she earned Kansas 31 points at the 2009 Big 12 Championships, but she was also apart of 94 more points in the three relays she participated on for a total of 125 points at the conference championship…
High School (First City Gymnasium): Graduated High School in June 2006… Attended Bohdan Khmelnitskyy National University in Ukraine for 2008.
