2008: Junior Season
Appeared in all 29 matches and made 24 starts in KU[apos]s back row… Second on the team with 0.56 assists per set and fourth in digs averaging 2.25 dps… Dug up 2.36 balls per set in Big 12 matches, third on the team… A solid defender finishing with a .977 service reception percentage and never had more than one reception error in a match and also never had back-to-back contests with a reception error… Named Academic All-Big 12 First Team and was one of just five players in the Big 12 with a 4.0 GPA… Seventh on KU[apos]s career record list with 1,835 assists and 10th with 5.68 assists per game… Recorded double-digit digs nine times, including a personal-high 21 digs versus Baylor on Nov. 26… Contributed a season-high 11 assists versus UAB on Sept. 13… Led the team with 13 digs in KU[apos]s win against Colorado on Nov. 5, which also marked the most digs by a Jayhawk in a three-set match on the year… Had a span of six service aces in six games from Oct. 8-29.

Saw action in all 30 matches and made 20 starts as a setter…Named Big 12 Sportsperson of the Year … Selected to ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Third Team … Academic All-Big 12 First Team selection … Seventh on KU[apos]s career record list with 1,775 assists and eighth with 8.26 assists per game … Finished with 13 double-doubles on the season … Tallied double-digit assists in all but one match … Second on the team with 5.15 apg and 2.53 dpg in a two-setter offense … Led KU with 14 digs in the home opener versus UMKC on Sept. 4 … Served up multiple aces on three occasions, including a career-high three at Missouri on Sept. 19 … Lone Jayhawk with double digit digs (11) versus No. 1 Nebraska … Had a season-high 34 assists in four games versus Colorado on Oct. 10 and added 16 digs … Collected a season-high three kills against Baylor on Oct. 17 and again versus Missouri on Oct. 27 … Also dug up a career-best 18 balls against the Tigers and dished out a team-high 32 assists … Tallied her 500th career dig at Baylor on Oct. 31 … Shared team lead with 16 digs in KU[apos]s upset over No. 18 Oklahoma on Nov. 3 … Led Jayhawks with 26 set assists at No. 12 Kansas State on Nov. 14.
2006: Redshirt Freshman Season
Had a stellar season in her collegiate debut as Kansas[apos] starting setter after redshirting the 2005 season … One of three players to start and play in all 29 matches and 102 games … Set a new KU freshman record of 1,193 assists … Led the team in assists and assists per game (11.70), both of which rank ninth all-time in KU single-season records … Ranked eighth among Big 12 players in assists per game … Fourth on the team with 2.60 dpg … Also added 0.72 kpg and 0.26 bpg … Tallied double-digit assists in every match … Posted 10 double-doubles … Had five games of 62 assists or more … Recorded her first double-double on Aug. 26 vs. Miami with 30 assists and 12 digs … Hit a personal-high .833 (5-for-6) against BYU on Sept. 7 … Dug up a season-best 17 balls on Sept. 9 against Arkansas, while adding 67 assists … Tallied a double-double at No. 1 Nebraska with 24 assists and 11 digs … Posted a career-high and team season-best 69 assists versus Texas A&M on Sept. 20 … Went up for a career-best five total blocks at Colorado on Sept. 23 … Set up 68 balls and tallied 15 digs versus Kansas State on Oct. 11, along with five kills … Had back-to-back double-doubles on Oct. 25 against Oklahoma (53 assists, 11 digs) and on Oct. 28 versus Texas Tech (68 assists, 15 digs) … Notched her 1,000th career assist after setting up 34 balls at Iowa State on Nov. 4.

Named the 2004-05 Kansas Gatorade Player of the Year and Kansas City Star[apos]s 2005 Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year … Led Bishop Miege to three state titles and was the East Kansas League MVP, 5A Kansas and Sun County Player of the Year as a senior … A two-time Kansas City Star Player of the Week, named all-county (Johnson and Sun) three years in a row and a two-time all-state and all-state tournament team selection … Recipient of the KVA All-Star Match Most Inspirational Player Award and was an Evelyn Gates Award finalist … Coached at Bishop Miege by Gwenn Pike … Was a senior class officer, prom queen nominee and National Honor Society member … Ranked fourth in her class with a 4.57 GPA … Played club ball for the KC Power, which finished third at nationals and was coached by Mike and Danielle Stowell … Was also a three-time state qualifier in track and field.
