2003: junior season
Established herself as a starter in place of injured teammate Jana Correa, getting the starting nod 19 times and appearing in all 33 of KU[apos]s matches … Named a First-Team Academic All-Big 12 selection for the second consecutive season … Got hot late in the schedule, posting double-digit kills in 11 of the Jayhawks[apos] last 16 matches … Contributed six kills in KU[apos]s win over No. 13 Minnesota on Sept. 5 … Added four or more kills in each match of the 2003 Hampton Inn/Jayhawk Classic … Added nine kills to the Jayhawks[apos] solid offense against No. 7 Nebraska on Oct. 8 … Posted a match-high 15 kills (.357 hitting percentage) and added six digs … Added 12 kills and four digs against No. 22 Texas A&M on Oct. 15 … Added 10 kills in KU[apos]s 3-2 win over Texas on Oct. 22 … Notched 14 kills and five digs at Colorado on Oct. 24 … Posted a career-high 17 kills on a .403 hitting mark against No. 7 Kansas State on Oct. 19 … Added 13 kills and tied her career-high with three blocks at Texas on Nov. 8 … Led KU with 10 kills at No. 10 Nebraska on Nov. 19 … Posted 10 kills on a .333 hitting average and added two blocks in KU[apos]s sweep at Baylor on Nov. 26 … Added 12 kills (0 errors) on a career-high .571 attack percentage in three games against Long Beach State in the NCAA Tournament First Round … Added 10 kills and eight digs against No. 4 Pepperdine in the NCAA Second Round.
2002: sophomore season
Named First-Team Academic All-Big 12 … Averaged 2.18 kills per game … Was fourth on the team in kills (157) … Had a season-best five blocks (2 solo) vs. Missouri (Nov. 23) … Collected a season-high three service aces at Iowa State (Nov. 30) … Led the Jayhawks in kills on two occasions … Also recorded 68 digs, 24 blocks and 12 service aces.
2001: freshman season
Made great strides as the season progressed … Saw action in 19 matches … Made her first career start against No. 2 Nebraska (Nov. 10) … Led the team with a season-high 13 kills at Iowa State (Nov. 7) … Collected a season-best eight digs against North Carolina (Oct. 12).
