PARADISE ISLAND, Bahamas -Â Three Kansas women's golfers finished inside of the top 10 as the Jayhawks claimed first place at the White Sands Bahamas Fall Invitational in come-from-behind fashion, the program's third-straight team title.Â
The Jayhawks, who shot a team score of 587 (+15) for the event, fired off a 3-under 285 on Sunday's final round to erase an 11-stroke deficit. The Jayhawks were the only team under par on Sunday as they jumped three spots in the leaderboard to take home the win.Â
The three-consecutive team titles sets a new school record and marks the second time in program history with three wins in a single season (2014). This is the fourth team win under fourth-year head coach Lindsay Kuhle, who guided the Jayhawks to back-to-back NCAA Regional appearances in 2023 and 2024.
"What a tournament, what a trip and a once in a lifetime experience for these ladies," said Kuhle. "We maintained the steady play all day long due to our exceptional ball striking and solid putting. We were strong in all areas today including ball striking, short game and putting which is key on a course like this in tough conditions. We knew we had a chance to win if we had four scores under par and that was our goal. We believed until the very end."
Purdue finished in second place at +17, followed by Baylor (+19), tournament host Texas A&M (+23) and Missouri (+26) to round out the top five. Â
Senior Lily Hirst led the way for the Jayhawks with after shooting rounds of 74 and 71 to finish tied for fourth place at -2. Hirst carded five birdies in the final round on her way to her third-career top five finish, the second of 2024-25.Â
Sophomore Lyla Louderbaugh was able to put together a very consistent tournament for the Jayhawks shooting rounds of 75-72 (+4) to finish tied for seventh place. This is Louderbaugh's first career finish inside the top 10. Â

DeKock finished the tournament at +7) and in 17th place. DeKock has now finished inside the top 20 in every event this season.
"Our team is good, and we enjoy the chase," said DeKock. "I am so proud of this team. This is the first time we have won three consecutive times in school history."Â
Senior Johanna Ebner finished T33 at +11 after rounds of 77 and 77.Â
Senior Jordan Rothman competed for Kansas as an individual and finished the tournament with rounds of 79 and 77 to finish T41 at +13.  Â
