MORGANTOWN, W.Va.- No. 8 Kansas Volleyball (12-1, 3-0 Big 12) continues their road trip in the third week of conference play as the Jayhawks will take on West Virginia Thursday night, and then will head to Cincinnati to meet the Bearcats on Saturday in an afternoon contest. Â
"We will see two teams on this trip who play with great enthusiasm and intent," said Kansas Head Coach Ray Bechard. "It's another good opportunity for our team to continue to grow in areas we have been emphasizing.
Kansas heads into the third week of conference play ranked number eight in this week's AVCA poll for the second straight week with a 12-1 record. Kansas began their road trip last week by defeating Colorado at the CU Events Center in a 3-1 victory. Kansas carries an undefeated 3-0 mark on the road coming into this week and carries that same 3-0 mark in conference play.Â

Camryn Turner and
Toyosi Onabanjo currently sit atop the conference leaderboard, with Turner leading the Big 12 in assists/set (11.64) and Onabanjo having the best hitting percentage in the conference (.475).Â
The Mountaineers come into Thursday night 6-9 on the season, and win-less in Big 12 play so far with an 0-4 record in conference play. The Mountaineers have only played one match inside the WVU Coliseum this season and will play host to the Jayhawks on Thursday night.Â
Cincinnati comes into this week of conference play winners of eight of their last nine matches, including a 2-1 in conference play. The Bearcats are yet to lose a match at Fifth Third Arena this season and have rattled off key wins over UCF, West Virginia, and cross-town rival Xavier.
Freshman libero Faith Frame was named this week's Big 12 Rookie of the Week, leading Cincinnati on the defensive front to notch her second weekly-conference award so far.Â
The Bearcats will welcome Kansas in on Saturday afternoon, where first serve is set for noon.Â
