"This golf course's defense is the wind, if the wind blows it becomes fairly difficult, but if there is no wind teams will make a lot of birdies." Kansas coach Jamie Bermel said, "We played here a few years ago and played really well. I know the golfers are looking forward to another opportunity."
Coach Bermel will travel with a lineup of seniors Will King, Luke Honner, sophomores Hartej Grewal, Ty Lasley, and freshman Arthur Carlier.
Kansas is coming off a fourth-place finish at the Bryson Invitational from Oct. 13-15, where the Jayhawks competed with the same lineup that is traveling to the Quail Valley Collegiate Invitational.
Grewal has put together an impressive start to his sophomore season, securing back-to-back top 10 finishes over the past two tournaments. The transfer leads the team with a stroke average of 70.4, and has four rounds in the 60's.
King is currently carrying a scoring average of 71.2 through 12 rounds, has recorded two finishes in the top 20, and has carded two rounds in the 60's. The Kansas native is coming off a top 10 finish at the Bryson Invitational, where he tied for seventh with a score of 209 (-7).Â

Honner is carrying a stroke average of 71.9 over 12 rounds, and has also recorded one top 20 finish, and one round in the 60's so far this season.Â
