LIHUE, Hi. – The Kansas women's golf team is set to travel to Lihue, Hawaii to compete in the 2025 Rainbow Wahine Invitational at the Ocean Course at Hokuala on Oct. 20-22. The Jayhawks are coming off of a first-place finish at the Marilyn Smith Invitational and are looking to carry that momentum into Hawaii.Â

Hawaii hosts the 19-team field that includes Kansas competing against Tulane, Baylor, Missouri, Cal State Long Beach, Santa Clara, Kennesaw State, Eastern Michigan, San Diego State, Nevada, Boise State, Wyoming, Washington State, Idaho, Osaka Gakuin, Grand Canyon, Sacramento State, and BYU.

The Jayhawks will tee off at 2:30 p.m. CT on Monday, Oct. 20th, and 2 p.m. CT on Tuesday Oct. 21st in a shotgun start format. The tournament will be 54-holes over three days, in an 18-18-18 hole format.Â

Kuhle will travel with a lineup of seniors

Anna Wallin, junior
Lyla Louderbaugh, and sophomores
Ebba Nordstedt and
Jillian Fatkin. Freshman
Marieke Ebens will also be traveling with the team, but she will be competing as an individual.Â

Nordstedt is coming off her first collegiate victory at the Marilynn Smith Invitational Oct. 6-7Â at Lawrence Country Club. Nordstedt is carrying a stroke average of 72.8 over nine rounds, recorded one round in the 60's, and has a team low 54-hole score of a 207.Â

Louderbaugh has put together an impressive start to her junior season, recording a team high two top five finishes, four top 20 finishes, and has recorded one round in the 60's. Louderbaugh is currently carrying a scoring average of 72.8 over 12 rounds.Â

DeKock, who is a team captain, has carried a scoring average of 72.8 to start the season, while carding one round in the 60's. DeKock won the Jayhawk Invitational to open the fall season and has posted two top-10 finishes. DeKock has finished inside the top 20 at each event so far this fall.Â

Wallin is coming off an eighth-place finish at the Marilynn Smith Invitational and looks to secure another top 10 finish on the season. Wallin is carrying a scoring average of 75.3 over nine rounds, and has two top-10 finishes on the season.Â

Fatkin and Ebens are both coming off individual performances at the Big O Classic, where both golfers finished inside the top 20. Ebens posted scores of 74-74-78-226 (+10) and tallied her first top 10 finish of her career with a sixth-place finish individually. Fatkin secured 13th place at the Big O Classic, and tallied scores of 77-80-78-235 (+19).Â
